Looks like the latest trend in wedding receptions is to have balloon-creature-creating clowns at the reception to entertain the little ones. As far as we can tell, it works. The kids seem enthralled (and the balloon creations are fun to photograph).
Paige & Jonathan had such a lovely wedding and beautiful reception at the Houstonian. Their Hora, as always, was soooo joyful an experience - for everyone there - photographers included!
Stepping out in Market Square for their engagement session. I especially enjoyed shooting "American Gothic Upside Down!" These engagement sessions make such a good run-through for a couple's wedding photography - we get to work together, I get to see how they interact together and how they photograph before shooting their wedding day.
Helene & James had a destination wedding and held a reception for their guests here in Houston. Helene's gowns were absolutely fabulous!! And these two make such a wonderful couple - they were a joy to photograph!
Debbie & Tam met at the Bronx Bar in the Village so they decided to commemorate that meeting by starting off their engagement session at the bar. We found a few more bars along the way!
Ashley split her bridal portrait session into 2 - 1/2 before her wedding and 1/2 after. We just shot the "after" portion and Ashley nailed it! By not having to worry about getting her dress dirty, we were able to get some very ethereal woodsy shots!
